Cars From Home – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Cars From Home. By enrolling in our Done For You (DFY) service, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to protect our clients, our team, and the integrity of the service we provide.


1. Service Overview

Cars From Home is an advisory and facilitation service that connects clients with verified dealership offers for new car purchases and leases. We do not sell vehicles, control vehicle availability, or manage dealership inventories. Our process involves contacting 25 dealerships on your behalf with the goal of obtaining at least 5 below-market offers.

Our core service includes:

  • Reaching out to 25 dealerships to obtain verified pricing on your desired vehicle

  • Providing up to 2 Market Reports (see Section 3)

  • Conducting a Trade-In Equity Assessment with 5–6 national buyers

  • Offering guidance and expert -support throughout the process


2. Eligibility Requirements

This service is available to clients who:

  • Are shopping for new cars or leases only

  • Have a FICO credit score of 680 or higher (not based on Credit Karma)


3. Market Reports

Each Market Report includes:

  • A record of 25 dealerships contacted

  • Which dealers matched the vehicle request

  • Which dealers submitted quotes

  • Our counteroffers and final dealer responses

You are entitled to receive:

  • Two Market Reports for different vehicles or follow-up timing (e.g. if lease programs change the next month)

  • OR up to three reports if each vehicle is deemed scarce (unable to obtain 5 offers)

If your vehicle is scarce:

  • We will still provide a full Market Report showing what was available

  • We may present you the option to order the vehicle from a participating dealer

  • We can gather up to 25 offers to assist with the order process


4. Equity Assessment (Trade-In Offers)

We will contact the following cash buyers (where applicable):

  • CarMax

  • Carvana

  • AutoNation

  • Driveway

  • KBB Instant Cash Offer

  • CarGurus

These quotes are shared with you to help you determine your equity and how to proceed with a potential trade-in.


5. Service Deliverables & Fulfillment

There are three possible service outcomes:

  1. You receive two market reports and choose not to move forward with any offers. In this case, our team has fulfilled the service. We do not facilitate vehicle delivery.

  2. You choose one of the offers from your first or second market report. Our team will coordinate the connection with the dealership and help facilitate the smoothest possible process for paperwork, delivery, and closing.

  3. All three vehicles shopped for are scarce. We will provide three full reports and offer the option to order the vehicle through a participating dealer. We will support the order process fully.

There is no timeline or expiration once your deliverables are fulfilled. If you decide not to move forward with any dealership offers, the service is still considered complete.


6. Refund Policy

Refunds are allowed only under the following conditions:

  • You request a refund before your onboarding call with a Cars From Home Advisor OR

  • You request a refund during the onboarding call

Once your onboarding call is completed and our team begins preparing a Market Report or Trade-In Assessment, the service is considered active and non-refundable.

Refunds will not be issued due to:

  • Lack of availability of a specific vehicle

  • Offers falling outside your desired monthly payment

  • Personal financial changes or indecision after report delivery


7. No Guarantee of Offer Quantity

While we aim to secure at least 5 real offers from 25 dealerships, we do not guarantee a specific number of offers. Offer count depends on:

  • Market availability

  • Dealer willingness to transact online

  • Vehicle demand and scarcity

We do guarantee that 25 dealerships will be contacted and that every effort will be made to secure the most competitive pricing possible.


8. Modification of Terms

Cars From Home reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as necessary. Clients will be notified of material changes via email.
